Use the Coffee MCP server to connect your Coffee workspace to ChatGPT. Once connected, you can ask ChatGPT questions about your pipeline, deals, meetings, and customer activity directly from the chat.
Requirements
Before you begin, make sure you have:
A ChatGPT account on a Plus, Business, Team, or Enterprise plan
Access to MCP / custom app support in ChatGPT (availability depends on your plan)
ℹ️ Note: In Business, Team, Enterprise, and Edu workspaces, only workspace owners and admins can add custom apps. Once added and enabled, the app becomes available to all workspace members.
Step 1: Add the Coffee MCP server
Open Workspace Settings in ChatGPT web app.
Navigate to Apps.
Select Create App (the exact label may vary depending on your ChatGPT version).
Configure the app with the following:
Name: Coffee
MCP Server URL:
https://mcp.prd.coffee.work/mcp/
Optionally, upload the Coffee icon.
Create the app.
Step 2: Connect your Coffee account
Select Connect.
ChatGPT will redirect you to Coffee.
Sign in to your Coffee workspace.
Grant ChatGPT permission to access your Coffee account.
You'll be redirected back to ChatGPT once authentication is complete.
Step 3: Enable the app
ChatGPT Plus: The Coffee app will be available for your account immediately after authentication.
ChatGPT Business, Team, or Enterprise: A workspace administrator may need to publish the app, approve the available MCP tools, and make it available to workspace members.
Step 4: Start using Coffee
Open a new ChatGPT conversation.
Select the plus sign and and the Coffee app.
Start asking any questions about your deals, companies or people.
Example prompts to get started:
Show my pipeline by stage.
Which opportunities have gone stale?
Summarize today's customer activity.
Find accounts with expansion potential.
What meetings happened this week?
Show opportunities closing this quarter.
Troubleshooting
I don't see "Apps" in ChatGPT
Your ChatGPT plan may not yet support custom MCP applications. Check that your account is on a Plus, Business, Team, or Enterprise plan.
Authentication fails
Verify you're signing into the correct Coffee workspace.
Confirm you have permission to access the workspace.
Try disconnecting and reconnecting the app.
No Coffee tools appear after connecting
Reconnect the Coffee app. If the issue persists, contact your Coffee administrator to verify that MCP access is enabled for your workspace.
ChatGPT isn't using Coffee data
Start a new conversation. If your ChatGPT version supports it, explicitly enable the Coffee app from the Apps or Tools menu before sending your prompt.
