Adding a company

Explore the different ways to add a company to Coffee.

There are three ways to add a company to Coffee:

  1. Automatic creation by syncing your CRM or Google Workspace

  2. Manually adding

  3. Importing a CSV file

Adding companies automatically

Syncing your Google Workspace

  1. Hover over your profile image at the top right

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Under Productivity & Collaboration, click Connect next to Google Workspace

  4. Continue with next steps inside your Google Workspace account

  5. Click 'allow all' to grant permissions

  6. Coffee will automatically create contacts and companies from the external people you meet with and email, and attach meetings and emails to them.

Syncing your CRM (Salesforce or Hubspot)

  1. Hover over Admin at the bottom left, and click Integrations

  2. Next to Hubspot or Salesforce, click Connect

  3. When redirected to your CRM, allow all permissions

  4. Your CRM will start syncing and automatically sync account, contacts and deals. This process might take a few hours. You will receive an email when the initial sync is complete.

Adding companies manually

To manually add a Company into Coffee, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the plus sign in the top right corner

  2. Select Company.

  3. You will be prompted to enter in the company URL and company name.

  4. Click Save

  5. Coffee will automatically enrich your data with additional information such as logo, location, industry, and other relevant information

Adding companies by importing a CSV file

If you have a list of companies ready or you use a different CRM where you can export the data from, you can import your companies all at once:

  1. Prepare your CSV file with the company data. Your file must include a URL for each company.

  2. In Companies, at the top right, hover over Actions and click Import CSV

  3. Upload your CSV file

  4. Map the fields on your file to those in Coffee.
    You can remove or ignore fields too.

  5. Preview the import to make sure the information looks right

  6. Click Import (bottom right)

  7. That's it! Coffee will import your data, and put it in a new list with the name of the CSV file. If any rows can't be imported, you will see a button for an exceptions file you can download to see what rows were skipped.
