Cloning a deal

Duplicate a deal into a different pipeline and stage without losing your original record.

You can clone deals when you have similar deals for your pipeline or when you want to clone a deal from one pipeline into another.

Clone a deal

  1. Go to Deals in the left sidebar.

  2. Mark the checkbox next to the deal you want to clone. You can only clone one deal at a time.

  3. Click Actions at the top right, then select Clone.

  4. In the Clone Deal panel, update the Deal Name. Coffee prefills this field with "Copy of [original deal name]".

  5. Under Pipeline, select the pipeline you want the clone to belong to.

  6. Under Stage, select the stage you want the clone to start in.

  7. Review the Company, Products, and Deal Size fields, and edit them if needed.

  8. Click Create clone.

Coffee creates a new deal record with the details you set. The original deal isn't affected.

Move a deal to another pipeline

Deals can't be moved between pipelines directly. To move a deal, clone it into the new pipeline, then remove it from the old one:

  1. Clone the deal into the pipeline you want to move it to, following the steps above.

  2. Confirm the new deal has the correct stage, company, and amount.

  3. Delete the original deal from its previous pipeline. See Deleting a deal.
