Coffee is available in 10 languages. Your language choice controls the language of menus, buttons, and other on-screen text, and it's saved to your account, so it follows you to every browser and device. Workspace owners and admins can also set a default language for the whole workspace, and each person can override it for their own account. Use this article to change your language, see what Coffee translates, and see what is still in English.
How do I change the interface language for my whole workspace?
Only workspace owners and admins can change the workspace language. The workspace language applies to every member who hasn't chosen a personal language. Coffee uses it for their interface, emails, and digests.
Click Settings in the bottom-left corner of your dashboard.
Select Account under Workspace.
In the Language field, click the dropdown and select the language you want.
Coffee updates the interface, emails, and digests for all members who haven't set their own language.
How do I change the interface language for my own account only?
Choose a personal language to override the workspace language. This setting applies only to your own account and doesn't change the language for anyone else in your workspace.
Click Settings in the bottom-left corner of your dashboard.
Select Profile under Personal.
In the Language field, click the dropdown and select your preferred language.
Coffee updates your interface to your selected language immediately, with no extra save step and no page reload. Coffee saves your choice to your account, so it follows you to every browser and device you use.

What does Coffee translate?
Most of the core Coffee app is translated, including:
The sidebar, toolbars, and grid columns and filters
The People, Company, Deal, and Task sheets
Today, Ask Coffee, meetings, and date pickers
Coffee also formats dates, numbers, and currency for the language you selected. Ask Coffee answers in your language.
Which emails and digests does Coffee translate?
Coffee sends all 17 system emails, such as invites and password resets, along with their subject lines, in the recipient's language. Slack digests and digest email subjects also arrive in your language. English output is unchanged.
If a workspace member hasn't chosen a personal language, Coffee uses the workspace language for their emails and digests.

How is this different from meeting transcription language?
Your interface language only changes how Coffee displays on screen. It's separate from the language Coffee uses to transcribe your meetings.
