Using multiple languages in the same meeting

Turn on multi-language transcription in the Coffee desktop app for meetings that mix languages.

Coffee's desktop app can transcribe meetings that include more than one language. Turn on multi-language transcription so Coffee captures every language spoken, instead of English only.

This setting is available only in the Coffee desktop app now (web support coming soon).

If you haven't installed the desktop app yet, see:

How do I turn on multi-language transcription?

  1. Open the Coffee desktop app.

  2. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner, then select Settings.

  3. Under Transcription, find the Language setting.

  4. Click Multi-language.

Coffee applies the change immediately and transcribes future meetings recorded in the desktop app using multi-language transcription, until you switch back to English Only.

This is a personal setting — it doesn't change transcription language for other Coffee users in your workspace. There's no plan or role restriction.
